Clinton and Doyle visit

On Thursday (11-29-07) Clinton and Doyle and Mona came to visit. We had lunch and playtime together. We are very excited that the Nichols family is moving to Salem.

Speech Therapy

Here is Alexa with Suzanne, her speech therapist. We go to speech therapy once a week at this time. We may not go as often in January due to our insurance being stupid. Alexa still doesn't use spoken words, but recognizes quite a few spoken words and does the sign for them. She can do book, baby, eat, up, down, all done, more, help, want and bear. She also knows hat, head and sometimes feet.

ok- I am having a little trouble with my computer and the internet, so I am just putting a couple of new pictures on every day or so. These are some I took a couple of weeks ago when we had a beautiful day. As I have proved, beautiful sunny days are good for playing outside but not so good for taking pictures unless you want funny squinting facial expressions.

Thanksgiving and other news

Well, we had a wonderful Thanksgiving with Carolyn, Penny, Conrad and Aaron. Here is what we looked like after we ate.

Our new blog

I have to admit, I am copying this general blog idea from Dana. but I love her blog. I hope I can make this one even half as nice for those of you who are interested in life with Alexa. Since this is my first post, I hope you'll forgive my brevity and the use of an old picture, but it is one of my favorits.
