After we allowed Alexa to open the present from Sophia, she realized that there were gifts inside those prettty packages, and while I was in the other room, she opened two more. Fortunately they were her presents. She got a pretty, poufy dress from Nana which she thinks is neat.
She also got a "radio" that plays alphabet and number songs..she played it constantly for about an hour after I took it out of the box.
Daddy got pajamas-he says he likes them.
Now Christmas morning.. we got the huge present from Penny out of the back of the van which has been the only place big enough to hide it. Alexa thinks he is pretty neat.
She pets him very vigorously.
Here she is slowly and reluctantly opening some more presents, what happened to that zeal for unwrapping from yesterday?
She is still euphoric about having permission to rip stuff, usually she gets time out for this!
Now we realize we should have saved the Olivia books for last. She refuses to open any more, she wants to read her books. When I try to give her a new present she brushes it aside and shoves the book in my face, so we stop and read the new Olivia helps with Christmas book.
Just to give you an idea how huge this dog really is.
I love these, but I may have gotten them because I always loved them as a kid. Shani and Shelley had them in the original 70's colors and they were so fun.
Well, there were more presents, beautiful clothes from Nana, a felt Hungry Little Caterpillar board etc. THANK YOU NANA! We had a fun Christmas morning, now we are getting ready to drive to Florence to spend a couple of days with David's family.
